What are the system requirements?

Full Disk Clean requires macOS 13 (Ventura) or later. It runs natively on both Apple Silicon and Intel Macs. No admin access is required.

Is it safe to use?

Yes. Full Disk Clean uses a 3-tier safety system (Safe, Caution, Danger) to clearly label every item. All deletions go to Trash first — nothing is permanently removed. You can always restore files from Trash if you change your mind.

Does the app collect any personal data?

No. Full Disk Clean does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. All scanning and analysis happens entirely on your Mac. See our Privacy Policy for details.

How do I grant Full Disk Access?

On first launch the app will guide you through granting access. You can also enable it manually: open System Settings → Privacy & Security → Full Disk Access, then toggle on Full Disk Clean.

Can I get a refund?

Full Disk Clean is sold through the Mac App Store. Refund requests are handled by Apple. You can request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.

The app isn’t finding all my files. What should I do?

Make sure Full Disk Access is enabled in System Settings. Without it the app can only scan a limited set of directories. If the issue persists, restart the app and try scanning again. Still stuck? Email us and we’ll help.
